Ancient Poland Terrorized by Wawel Dragon

The dragon that terrorized ancient Krakow, Poland was called the Wawel Dragon which was also known as the Dragon of Wawel Hill. It lived in a limestone cave called Smocza Jama or Dragon’s Den located on the banks of the Vistula. The river flows below the hill upon which sits Wawed Castle.
The dragon poisoned the air with his breath and ate up both humans and cattle. Then one day a local hero fed the dragon a lamb that was filled with sulfur. This made it so thirsty that it drank up as much river water as it could and finally exploded.
Today there is a stylized, fire-breathing metal statue of the Wawel Dragon in Krakow which has become a tourist attraction/ The dragon is a symbol of the city.

I just know one except she has big pointy ears and does not breathe fire unless bad breath counts. Poor Kai, did her dirty on this comment.

@RasmaSandra She is the one on the right. I have one of her solo, but comes up sideways. She must have did her Dragon magic on that one.

I can't say that I like dragons but I do like what the angel does to the dragon (Satan the Devil) as recorded in Revelation 20:1-3. How peaceful those 1000 years will be!

I do love the dragons in Games of Thrones
