Fall Cleaning

I've been trying to get myself organized....declutter and donate or toss. I don't usually do a big Fall cleaning per se but this year I feel inclined to do more which includes heavier cleaning, moving furniture, windows etc.
Tomorrow I'm having someone come in to clean the carpets. I only have carpet on the stairs and upstairs hallway but with foot traffic and the doors they are really looking dingy. I was happy to find someone willing to do this small job and I'm hoping it comes out nice.
The other thing I'd love to do is hire a cleaning service to come in and do all the heavy cleaning which I'm not able to do anymore. It would be nice to get it all done in one day especially with the holidays coming. The house would shine.
My house is always clean and 99% tidy but it wears me out doing the basics. When I bought this house I thought I was downsizing and it was true at the time. Now it just seems bigger than we need but I can't even think about moving. So, my next step is to see what it would cost to hire a cleaning company even if it's not weekly.
As I sit here and dream of those luxuries I wonder what you would like to have done for you? Cooking? Cleaning? Grass? etc

Yes I would love a crew to come in and deep clean, moving beds and dressers.

lol I have the same dream, it does get to be too much to keep up with a home as we get older. Mega Millions is at 1.6 billion, I know where some of that would go if I won lol

My hubby and I will be moving in a few years to less property and larger house. I might be looking into house cleaning help when we get there. The house has stairs so for sure I plan to buy a vacuum cleaner for upstairs and another for downstairs.

Well I wish the grass was taken care of more, but the office is in charge of the landscaping not us so doesn't matter I guess. The cooking and cleaning I got.

Amazing how cleaning becomes so taxing as our bodies age.
