It's Beginning to Look Like Autumn

I can't believe it. There are finally a few more leaves showing signs of turning into those beautiful fall colors. Here and there on a few of the trees you are beginning to see some leaves turning scarlet, gold, and orange.
Not only that, thank goodness, the temperature today has fallen below the 80's. I don't know if it will stay below 80 degrees but I am sure hoping it will.
I was able to enjoy a short period of time outside in our swing with my little buddy Luke. It was lovely sitting out there with the cooler crisp air and the slight breeze.
Now I am inside and ready to work. I will be writing and visiting MyLot today unless something comes up to keep me from doing so.
Dinner tonight will be leftover meatloaf from last night's dinner. Hot meatloaf sandwiches for the hubby and meatloaf wraps for me.

Enjoy the fall colors. Around here everything is still green. With the recent drop in temperature, the leaves may change some. We don't usually get much of a foliage season here. Mostly straight from green to brown to falling down.

It's been cool here only in the 40's and low 30's at night. I wish it was still 80's here, but no luck on that until Summer comes back. We've had rain this week and could possibly see snow at some point.

@HazySue I prefer the warm weather because when temps start to get cold that's when cold season starts and I hate getting sick. So far i have been pretty lucky though.

@Blondie2222 I am sorry to hear that the cooler weather affects your health. I like the cooler weather because it is easier for me to breath.

Our fall weather is in a full spectrum of beautiful colors! Yet our temperature is averaging around 56 degrees, which I love. Meatloaf? Hey, you beat me to the draw! I had leftover meatloaf for dinner, with baked squash and string beans.

I love this point of autumn, where there's a "fight" of sorts for the color domination. The green gets lighter and lighter every day, and more and more trees "lose" to the colors. Stunning.
