Some days I don't know how I would get through without a little help from my friends. I have only a few I call friend. And in this life one true friend is all you need. They are hard to come by and when you find them, hold on to them. Be there for them and they will be at your side when you need them. I have one true friend. Her name is Joan. I just sent her a box of goodies for her birthday. She lives in another state but we talk on the phone at least once a week. I stay with her when I go up to visit my kids. We met when all our kids were little. Good times, bad times, we did it all together.

I love your pic for this topic. I also love the song because it reminds me of one of my favorite classic tv shows "Wonder Years". I've always been a loner. I thought I had friends when I was younger but we all drifted apart. As I've gotten older it's been hard for me to keep a close friend. I had a very close friend that I felt that I could talk to almost any time I really needed it and she passed away earlier this year. I have my sister to talk to sometimes. But unlike @akalinus I don't feel that I have a true friend now who will really listen to me when I need it.

@CarolDM I am blessed with two real good friends. We try to help each other as much as we can. And the three of us do get together at times and have fun no matter what we are doing.
