big BELLY policemen

Happy Tuesday morning, all! The news here in my country posted about the 2 policemen who were indicted for the murder of a male adolescent who was supposedly a carnapper. The case is still not resolved. Seeing the 2 policemen who looked so innocent and lawmakers but with very big bellies contradict their description as quick and fast-paced officers of the law. A senator pushed through with a policy that policemen should maintain a slim waistline so they can move freely when they ‘run after criminals’. Having big bellies will make them slow and lazy; their lifestyle should be checked too. In your place, do you have big belly law enforcers?

Oh, wow! To be honest, I haven't seen any policemen except in their cars. I wouldn't be surprised if some had big bellies here.

but from what i read and watch some posts on FB, your policemen there have fit bellies and they can run fast when apprehending criminals. unlike here, they look like big bosses of a syndicate. hahaha

No, I have never seen a policeman with a big belly here. They are usually tall, but not fat.

@Courage7 i think there are more rotten tomatoes here than there. even directors of police agencies cannot control their subordinates.

Yes, there are still some enforcers here in our area who have big bellies. They should be working out to be fit and healthy so they could move/run faster during emergency situations

I think it was then Chief Police and now Senator Lacson that proposed that during his term to lead the police to have a preferred waistline for everybody to maintain and those that will not qualify will undergo a rigorous training to make their waistline acceptable to the police force. After several years it was not implemented so many got back to their large bellies again.

All the ones I have seen are thin and no fat bellies. I guess they have not been eating to many donuts.

yes, and that should be a pre-requisite for those entering the police academy, that they should be well-fit.

@ridingbet I think once they are through with the major training they stop caring about their appearances.

Good thought. It takes more time for a man with big belly to run fast compared to a stout police men.

big belly and stout policemen should be a NO-NO to police forces.
