October 31, 2018 3:58pm CST
So, as any one who knows me would know, I love animals so I educate myself ALOT about them. I recently found out that onions are VERY toxic to them. Who would have known? and berries are actually really good for there health issues.

onions have a ingredient called thiosulphate that is actually toxic to cats and dogs. which causes damage to the red blood cells and cause them the burst. That condition is called hemolytic anemia, every one should always look up every human food that you are thinking of giving you pup, its sometimes the unexpected foods that do more damage.

@LindsayA8 Oh wow thank you for sharing. I would never give my dog an onion anyway and I really don't see why people would.

yea I don't think so either, but in some human food there are onions, just a precaution.

who give onion to animal. What kind of animal are you talking about?
31 Oct 18
dogs and cats, for example if you give a dog scraps of human food to them, you would want to make sure there are no onions or any other human foods that might harm them.
