I finally have a doctor

I mentioned in my last post that I wasn't happy with my medical care recently. I was seeing a nurse practitioner and the last time I was in I didn't find that she was taking my health concerns seriously. When I told her about my health problems and concerns she didn't really do anything or order any blood work. She just told me to come back in December and we would talk more then.
Anyway my daughter and grand daughter just got a new doctor and she asked the doctor if she would take me on as a patient and she said she would. She is a new doctor. I have an appointment next week to meet her. She actually went to school with my daughter so she knew her already. I haven't had a doctor in about 20 years so I am looking forward to finally having a family doctor again.

Oh isn't that a relief to find a good doctor that is willing to take you on as a patient?
I know the feeling, I was without one for almost a year when I got my new one half a year ago.
Good luck with this doctor, I hope that she not only takes you seriously but can really help you and listen intentently to your concerns, and to what you do not say.
