It's an Ulcer

I've been in pain for over a week. No fun. No, I didn't go to the doctor. It can't be anything else. The pain intensifies when I eat. So, I'm not eating much lately.
Yesterday, I went online and looked at natural remedies and found a recipe for turmeric tea. I made that up, had two cups, and the pain disappeared for several hours.
I was ready to go to the pool this morning, however, the pain was more than I wanted to deal with, so stayed home.
I've had a cup of tea this morning and I'm doing okay for the moment. My plans for today were simple. Spend a little time here, vote, write, and Writer's Guild tonight. That changed about an hour ago. I'm still doing the above. I don't know how much writing I'll get done, plus the paragraph story for Writer's Guild. However, my friend who lost her husband a few weeks ago texted me about going to see the movie A Star is Born. I told her yes. She'll be here in a few hours as we're going to the noonish show. It gives me time to vote and write before she picks me up.
Those are today's plans. What are yours? Thanks for reading.

@1hopefulman I don't know, but I'm blaming the pot roast I over seasoned. It was super spicy.

It turned out not to be an ulcer. I saw the doctor yesterday. Thank you.

I would recommend seeing a doctor about this 'ulcer', self medicating can be dangerous.

Well I hope you can find out for sure what it is and hope you do go to the doctor. Even if you prefer a natural cure I don't think the doctors will give you anything too strong for it. Probiotics and lots of high probiotic yogurt will help you as well.

I do feel better and the doctor confirmed it wasn't an ulcer. Yes, the turmeric was very helpful.

may i ask if the ulcer that you have is diagnosed by your doctor? what ulcer was it? gastric, or duodenal?

@just4him glad to know it was not an ulcer; probably hyperacidity only?
