More snow

My husband and I took a road trip to MO today considering we only live about 20 minutes away. Well the weather was telling us to watch out for snow burst and let me tell ya that burst hit leaving MO. My friend called off work today because of it and I called him a wimp lol and I have a few pictures but can't upload all of them on here.

It does, I did a YouTube video about it today and talking about how it's not even Thanksgiving and we have snow.

For me that one will do. I do not miss snow. I grew up in Minneapolis so I know what winter is like and hated it. Here we get snow but not all the time. Our winter season is when we get rain and we do not always get enough of that and that is not good.

We don't get as much snow as we used to. But this year the snow came real early.

@Hannihar we still have some on the ground as the temperature dropped to 9 degree last night and today was in the 20s.

@hillhjill At one time my Mom lived in Missouri, down by Arkansas. The time I visited there was ice and snow then the next day it was 70 above.

When I took this photo I was back in Illinois, but Missouri does get a lot of snow at the top of the State.

@sallypup Yeah there weather can be weird lol. We went to Arkansas in the summer and I thought I was going to melt it was so hot.

@nela13 No not really, we just let some air out of the tires and that helps grip the ground.

Yes we are always very careful when the roads are covered, but the plow trucks do pretty good around here.
