When One Goes They All Go

I will now be prepared, well I hope I will remember to be, eight to ten years is a long time to remember. Last week my office light blew so I climbed up in a chair, stretched as far as I could and on tippy toes, turned the little knob removed the glass cover and replaced the light bulb. But before replacing the glass cover I washed it. A couple days later the spare bedroom light blew! I have no climbed up to change it yet since I have bedside lamps, but I got to soon because I like the light. Nope! that is not all. Last night I turned on my bedside lamp and the light blew. This one was easy to replace, of coarse. So I think I put in those light bulbs around eight to ten years ago, I am just glad that I bought a package of eight bulbs when the office light blew. Now where can I write and place a reminder " buy light bulbs in year 2026."

I always have a few light bulbs on hand as I don't like darkness and like plenty of light when I'm awake but when I go to sleep I don't even like the light on my computer and switch off everything.

It does seem to go that way. Some of it may have to do with the wiring in the house as well.

The light bulb in the garage went out and it is high. I hope I do not have to change that for 8 years again.

Those bulbs sure did last a long time! The new energy efficient ones should last even longer.

Those were energy efficient. My sister bought a ten year bulb and it lasted exactly 10 years.

Well, that's three of them. That should be it for a while as far as blown globes go.

I have 3 closet and the pantry I have never changed the bulbs since I moved in, that shows what rooms I use lights in more.

That sounds about right....them all going out at once! That's great to buy the long lasting bulbs though. We do too, and it's so nice not having to change them often.
