What kind of herbal teas (if any) do you drink?

United States

I drink several, and was wondering what others drink and for what reasons. I drink Raspberry Leaf Tea, Lemon Ginger Tea, and Turmeric (with Meadowsweet and Ginger) Tea. The Raspberry Leaf and Turmeric Teas are both Traditional Medicinal Brands while the Lemon Ginger is Stash Brand. I drink the Raspberry Leaf Tea for Uterine Health, The Lemon Ginger Tea to help with maintaining a healthy weight and the Turmeric Tea also for female health. What Herbal teas do you drink and why? I also drink Lemon Water.

I have never been a fan of tea of any kind, so for me none. But take away my coffee and one might be hung.

I can leave coffee behind, but I also love it at the same time.

@porwest I buy a jar of the insta stuff when I want some, but I try to stay clear of it otherwise.

I drink peppermint tea a lot for my digestive system. When I feel sick (nausea) I drink ginger tea. I drink chamomile tea for restful sleep. Echinacea tea if I feel a cold coming on, I could go on and on...

Well, please do! I have more teas that are loose leaf but I haven't bothered with them lately. I need to get another tea strainer though I do have a cute cup with cat ears and a fishy in the middle that serves as the tea strainer.

@ScribbledAdNauseum That's cool. I just use a tea ball. It does the trick.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I grow my own peppermint and spearmint and dry it for tea. So much better than the store bought.

My favorite is Celestial Seasons Bengal Spice, but it is kind of hard to find, so right now I have Cinammon Apple. I just like the taste.

@ScribbledAdNauseum not a fan of fruity sort of teas in general..but I realize you are drinking for medicinal theory.

@snowy22315 "theory", I take it you don't take much stock in the medicinal qualities of herbal teas?

I don't drink Celestial Seasonings anymore. I used to get their red raspberry tea before I realized that it wasn't from the leaf, which is what I needed. Now I stick with Traditional Medicinals for the most part, the "Stash" brand tea was the first I had gotten from another brand in awhile.

I hardly, if ever, drink regular tea anymore. By the way, "Regular Tea" is iced tea (or sweet tea) to me.

@Debscrochet Ah okay, gotcha. Yes, I don't drink those very often anymore. I was telling someone lese here that I do drink Arnold Palmer's (lemonade / tea mix) when I go out to a restaurant.

I think the Caramel Apple is one that I have wanted to try, it's seasonal isn't it?

@Courage7 That's not a bad price. I used to like to get teas when they were 2/ $5.00 or 2 /$4.00.

I have Linden Leaf tea, cannot remember why. We talked about it in herbal. I have more teas on hand than I can count. Lemon Balm tea is good to relax, and it kills cold sore viruses, I make a concoction with Nettles and Lemon Balm and Parsley for hubby for bladder and kidney health. Nettles is good for allergies as well. I have some branded teas, like Bengal Spice by Celestial Seasonings, I like Sweet Orange by Tazo On the box Linden Leaf says it is a relaxant, but if I am not mistaken it helps control blood sugar. Thyme, brewed up as a tea helps fight allergies and cold symptoms. I have that Turmeric Tea but do not like it that well. I would rather use turmeric in a shaker on my foods. It is anti inflammatory and is beneficial for people with arthritis.

I don't drink "herbal" tea in the sense of drinking it for medicinal purposes. I am more of a flavor person, so I'll drink Celestial Seasons teas, and herbal teas from Stash and Bigelow.
