Still in Villa Escudero. Let's escape from your fast sedan and cool bus on the national. Let's feel the breeze of being in the countryside. Let's ride a carabao-drawn carousel. Not speed, in fact very slow that bicycles can overtake it. Lets pass through the uncemented road, covered only with gravel and sand. At the back of carousel there is serenade, a couple with guitar and singing the classic and old songs until you reach your destination. Isn't that so nice, so nostalgic. Have you ever experience riding in animal drawn carousel?

Looks like you are having your grand tour of southern tagalog region. That is a nice place and we always pass by that area when I travel to my province down south. Our bus would make a stopover at the Mcdo Restaurant besides Villa Escudero. But I have not really visited that place at all.

@ilocosboy Yeah that is the main highlight of the place. Very unique way to eat your food there. I think they only lack rooms to stay or have they constructed a place to stay there already.

That would be a great experience. The cows must be really powerful to pull such a wagon.

@ilocosboy The invention of the wheel must have been a remarkable thing. Then they went from wooden wheels to pneumatic ones and pulling became even easier.

The cow is really a powerful animal and because the cart now is using wheels it is now easier to pull. The olden times is harder when cart have no wheels and is loaded with sacks of rice.

Wow, so you are at Villa Escudero. I haven't been there yet, but someday we will go there also. That carabao drawn carousel is very nice. It must be so nice going around there in that.
