Did you know about the versatility of shaving cream? We all know it prowess as a lubricant and moisturizer for shaving off unwanted facial or for the ladies leg hairs. But it also has other neat uses too. Here are a couple novelty uses you might try with your can of Barbasol or other shaving cream: -Use it to keep your bathroom mirror from fogging up during showers. It also removes those smudges and streaks in the process. Supposedly works on car windows too! -Removes spots from carpets. Squirt, rub in and wash with water. -Lubricates squeaky hinges. I can vouch for this one, lol. "Life hacks are any tricks, shortcuts, or novelty ideas that increases efficiency in all walks of life." Can you think of any other wacky uses for shaving cream? Have you tried any of these? Source-www.wackyuses.com & mentalfloss.com Photo-amazon.com

They have shaving cream crafts for kids! One that I remember is getting a plate of shaving cream and adding/swirling different color paints into it. You get a piece of paper to put on the cream - and you get a marbled print. I know some teachers who have sprayed shaving cream all over the lunch tables so the kids could play with it - and clean the tables/benches at the same time

Wow! Very clever and thanks for adding to my list. It's also good for cleaning latex paint from your hands. Apparently, as the teachers found out, it's a pretty good table top cleaner too, lol.

Sensory play for young kids. Squirt it on a tabletop and let them "finger paint". In the process you get a clean table.

I would never have thought to put shaving to use in these ways. The things one learns on the Internet.

Hubby is redoing a car that was a convertible, sitting under a tree for fifteen years. It smelled musty even when dry. He cleaned the seats with shaving cream. Spread on, let dry, then vacuum off. Sure helped the smell and the dirt.

It's really cool finding out different ways to utilize household stuff. I guess we all have our weird preoccupations, but for me, discovering something new like that is like finding out a secret to a magic trick

Never heard of it used in any of these ways. When my daughter was about 2 I use to squirt it on the table or mirrors and let her use her fingers to spread it around and draw shapes etc.

Me neither. But it was fun to see a simple inexpensive product that could be used effectively in so many ways... It's also good on plastic patio furniture too. Good to remember come spring time, lol.

For squeaky hinges nothing is better than W-40, I would not try with shaving cream. I do not dare to try on our car windows.

Yes, pretty neat! I've tried out quite a few already. Great on the bathroom mirror. No fogging and great cleaner. Going to give it a try on my car windows next! I've also broken in my nephew's baseball glove with it. And it's cheap to buy
