My Ebay Saga

The "Recap" will be in italics, so those who are already aware of the ebay dilemma, you can skip ahead to the plain text. I ordered two pairs of leggings from a company on ebay. This was November 4th or 5th. I didn't receive the package until the 14th, and when I did there was only one pair inside. I asked the seller for another tracking number as I had noticed the items were shipped separately. They ignored my request and suggested that the item would arrive soon. I waited a few days and then tried again, asking for a tracking number. They asked if I'd like them to resend the package, again ignoring my request for a tracking number. By this point, I am only assuming they have a second tracking number as the package was shipped separately. I again mentioned that all I wanted was for a tracking number. They have now said that the "package has been lost" and would I like a full refund? Now, I did receive ONE pair, and so I am not going to ask for a full refund. I said "I want a refund for the pair I did not receive." I plan to give them a review when all is said and done. I won't be rude about it, but I will be honest. They have a good rating (95%) but they do have a few disgruntled customers.

I hate it when we all want is just a simple request from them and all they can give us are lame excuses. I also have the same experience as this. I have an online business and I need to pay for my parcel to arrive here. My supplier did not send some of my orders knowing that they know that some of them are not available but still they want me to pay full. After getting all the items which I also paid for another parcel, I quit working with them because I paid a lot already.

Yes, it sounds as if that supplier wasn't a very good one.

They do not deserve a good rating, as you had so much trouble, ask for a full refund, you deserve it.

It's too late for that now. I sent off the message last night and according to the seller, the refund should show up in my account in 48 hours.

Which, I'll probably turn around and spend on another pair of leggings or else save towards Christmas, not sure yet.

That can certainly be confusing. Hope you get the refund. I mostly shop through Amazon and have been satisfied. One time I did shop elsewhere on Wish which has most of the merchandise from China. I saw a warm looking purple blanket and ordered it. The blanket arrived and looks more like a very long shawl SIGH

That is one reason why I don't want to try Wish, I can't be sure that I will get what I think I am getting. I need to check to see if I've gotten a reply yet. I sent my message a few hours ago, so I am not sure.

Even though they have a good rating, if it's not 100% then somebody had a bad experience. Or at least they perceived it as a bad one. I don't order from anyone (anymore) that doesn't have a 99.5% or better rating.

I try to give the benefit of the doubt. Though I also hadn't read the bad reviews before purchasing. I've learned my lesson, and next time I'll not only take the rating into consideration, but the bad reviews as well.

All of this is happening today, I don't know whether I'll get it or not, but I hope so. I assume they'll send the refund tomorrow.

No harm in accepting a full refund. I have those pleasant experiences shopping with Amazon. They ask me to keep whatever I am not happy with and still send a full refund.
