A Very Busy Day

I have been gone most of the day. Appointments and errands have kept me running round. But it has been a beautiful day outside to get things done. The sun has been shining all day and the temperatures have been very nice. Now I have laundry and things to get done in the house. Hoping you all had a great day. I will get caught up as soon as time allows. Sharing a photo of a surprise delivery I received awhile back. Still brings a smile. That is what life is all about. Smiles and laughter. Thanks Anna, it was a nice surprise. Carnations stay longer than most flowers but still not long enough.

You received a really nice delivery! There are no deliveries up here in Canada to speak of. Canada Post is on strike, and a lot of it has to do with the fact that the bulk of what mail carriers have to deal with these days is packages. I don't know what that will spell for Cyber Monday, but I have a feeling it won't be shopping. They have advised that anything ordered from the US will sit at the border and not be delivered. So shoppers will have to buy from Canadian companies or do without.

@CarolDM No, its awful. They are in their 4th week, and given the fact that strike pay is only $100/week, they must be getting hungry and should be ready to bargain and get back to work. Up here the postal employees have it quite good.

Yes this was awhile back but still brings a smile. Wow I did not know about the strike, surprised it has not been on our news. Not great timing for all this to happen. I hope it gets straightened out soon.

It's been pretty cloudy here. We've gotten our fair share of snow actually, the last few days. I'm glad you were able to enjoy the sun though.
