I finally published my new poetry/lyric book

I finally published my new poetry/lyric book. I ordered a proof copy the other day, saving 25% on it because it was a Black Friday deal. Now I have to wait for it to come to my door so I can look it over and make sure that everything is okay with it and that it doesn't need to be fixed and republished. Hopefully, everything will be fine. After that I can distribute the book to online retailers and tell everyone about the book. I hope that someone will actually want to get a copy. Nothing worse for an author when people don't want his/her book... Regardless of what happens, I am still happy that I have published another book. It's my eleventh book to-date, not counting the two poetry anthologies that I put together and published, in which I am also a contributing poet. I have always wanted to be a published author and with many books under my belt. I am grateful that my dream came true and that I still get to publish books... Hope this will never change.

@porwest It is self-published. But it shouldn't matter how a book is published... It's about getting people interested in a book that is key.

@lovebuglena It's harder if it is self published for people to latch on. I am assuming it is self published. But word of mouth is everything.

Congratulations on publishing your newest book. I am going to publish my second poetry book. Sad for me, there are few lovers of poetry in this part of the world. I am publishing them in Blogger hoping to be noticed by international readers.

I have actually started working on #12 and #13. One is a limerick book. Another is a book of regular poetry. Not sure which one will be done first.

Thanks. I hope to keep publishing books. This lady that I used to be friends with keeps publishing poetry books and probably others. She has published over 35 books to-date. I wonder if I will be able to reach that number.
