I am so glad the work week is over. It was so busy and extremely stressful. Even though I have been at my job for 31 years there are times I wish I had another job where it wasn't so stressful. It would be nice to feel appreciated for all I do instead of having them just keep giving me more to do and never appreciating anything. I swear that place will be the death of me.
Anyway the weekend is here. Destinee was here for the night but she will be leaving early to go to her music lesson. It was nice to spend sometime with her. Other then that not much else planned. I hope to get my tree decorated if I can find the modification to do it.
Any plans for the weekend?

I'm sorry to hear that work was so stressful. That's definitely not fun to deal with. At least you have something to look forward to. Not too many plans for the weekend. I know for sure we'll be trying to get our Christmas tree this weekend.

I was going to go out shopping for a Christmas tree today and then put up all my holiday decorations, but it's been pouring down rain all day today, so those plans got cancelled. It looks like we are going to have soggy conditions all the way through Monday, so I guess I'll just have to wait until next weekend to put up all my Christmas decorations.

I can understand your predicament.
To be appreciated does not come easy in most places. I went through the grind for over forty years and I bore the brunt of what others did not want to do that fell on my lap. Even during the weekends, I used to think about the week ahead
I was relieved to retire in one piece - siva

It is just a shame that at work you aren't being appreciated as you wish to.While I was reading your post I could sense you are nice and kind person, I hope someday someone hits you up and tells you "Hey you are doing a great job" cause words like that really mean for some people nowadays. I hope you can rest over the weekend and get the best energies so you can go back to work feeling energized and ready to conquer all! I also decorated home for Christmas! Take care!

Yeah, I went to some open houses today. The week here has been hard, because my cat has a life threatening condition. However, I have ordered a supplement that offers hope. Poor kitty just feels rough, and knowing he really could pass at anytime is very stressful, although thus far he is hanging in there..better at some times than others. I need to see a big improvement in this next week though.At least he isn't hiding in the closet though..and is eating and drinking..although not as much as he should be. Sorry about your job.

My plans for today is to get my tree decorated.
My daughter is working at a job similar to yours where she is over-worked and under appreciated. I pray every day that she finds another job.
