My Pocket Ached Much Today

After lunch today, I filed for undertime. I went to the clinic of my dermatologist. She examined my two bald spots and said that the other one has some tiny growing hairs already although, they are gray ones which is how it grows when you had a bald spot. The other one was alopecia areata indeed, though small. The other part is thinning hairs. So, she injected on those two spots. I will have my injection every two weeks for 3 months . She then, prescribed me minoxidil for 3 months, to be applied on the two bald spots evening and morning. She also prescribed me a hair thickening shampoo. The injection is for $7.40 (PhP370) , the minoxidil for $12.60 (PhP630) and the Hair Thickening shampoo is for $15.20 (PhP760). But the injection though isn’t painful. She let me breath deeply, as she injects. It’s my pocket that said Ouch!

Oh indeed it really is ouchy on your wallet. One good thing about it is we have an extra 13th month pay this month so money is a bit okay for such emergencies for medical problems.

@SIMPLYD That is just in time for the emergency to happen. I think you should set aside money for that in the coming treatments.

@thelme55 We have proven the interventions as very good. Our hairs grew back and the alopecia areata were all covered. So that is why, I know that I have to see the dermatologist again.

@SIMPLYD I see. I would not allow myself to have that treatment for the sake that I am scared of the outcome when it's not good. I hope your treatment is successful.

@responsiveme Yes, I massage the onion juice 30 minutes before shampooing, at least 3 time a week. It prevents falling hair. You can feel baby hairs on your applied parts after two weeks.

Thank you. But you know the bald apot which has some hairs growing, is the product of my massaging onion juice in that spot.

That too is a costly place to go. Consultation alone is for 500 pesos. How much more the frames and the lenses and those optical drops.

The injection are for the bald spots. It hastens the growth of hairs. Although , initially they will be gray hairs. Minoxidil too is for those. Yes, that is true, specially with the dermatology applications.

Actually, they do. I had alopecia 4 years ago. Those where what was prescribed except for the Hair thickening shampoo which is the costliest.

Well, we cannot avoid to spend like this, when our health or physical condition is already involved. So, I don't mind the cost anymore, because anyway, we were also given our 13th month yesterday.

It does not matter for spending money if your hair grow naturally after the injection. I hope you will get good results for spending much.

It really is costly to see a dermatologist. The doctor's fee + meds are expensive, know it from experience. But as long as the treatment works then I guess the expenses are worth it.

Absolutely. Going to a dermatologist for a treat of aomething will always be costly. But that,,'s okay because at least a part 13th month pay that arrived today was made to pay a useful and important thing.

It really hurts on our pocket when we undergo treatment on some medical and health issues. We have no choice otherwise we will suffer. Actually, it two way suffering on both sides; financial and health but I chose to spend because we could still find ways to earn.
