~Threatened My Fur Baby~

Hey everyone I hope you're doing well! Things are good here. God is so amazing and He loves you. If you seek Him you will find Him! :) He wants a relationship with you! Yesterday was a good day but there was a hiccup, which is absolutely normal and expected! Life is never always peachy! The neighbor that's closest to us got annoyed that our dog went into his yard. (We don't have fenced in yards here) He came to our house and threatened her life saying he will kick her in the head or shoot her if she goes back in his yard. We will be praying extra hard for him since he needs to know Jesus. We will do our best to lead by example to show him God's love. =) His anger saddens us, can't imagine living that way... My husband works with him and said he's always angry and negative, heart breaking. We want everyone to know the joy of the Lord-its amazing!! Anyway, this morning God blessed us with great food my husband cooked. We had French toast, eggs, biscuits, tater tots and sausage. =) Then we (our family) listened to a sermon and took notes on it for later reading/understanding. So far it's been a great one, how's your day going so far?? Took this picture yesterday

@Courage7 Please pray for him, he needs it. His name is Jonathan. It's okay. We told the landlord despite his no animal inside rule our dog will now be inside because she's our family and being threatened. =(

@Courage7 It actually happened at the end of the day yesterday. It was unexpected but we know things aren't always perfect. It's okay, we will just keep our fur baby inside always now except for bathroom breaks. God is a great Father!!

I do love that picture. We're having a pretty fantastic day also. Realizing how blessed we are, and we had a nice hour plus drive in the sunshine to our son's house, where we are needed to babysit Ellie, their dog, for a bit. My husband and I will go for a drive in a little while to the cemetery-we need to check on our daughter's gravesite and of course say a prayer. We'll visit my Dad's also.

@LovingMyBabies Thank you. I love going out to that cemetery. There are 2 big family plots, of my grands and greats and great-greats out there. It makes me mindful of where I came from and to where I will eventually go to. We love helping our son and his wife out and enjoy being with Ellie. She's on a very strict diet, and of course I accidentally over-fed her. Now we have to keep her very quiet and still until she digests it so that her tummy doesn't turn over. I feel badly for that error, I texted our son, and he said to watch her and just keep her quiet and she should be fine.

Good evening @LovingMyBabies my day went well. I got most of my shopping done and I got all my work done, and now I\m relaxing before the week begins. Have you considered a dog run for your dog? It isn't expensive like a fence is, but your dog will be able to run around the yard, but only as far as the lead allows her.

@Carmelanirel2 I'm so glad your day is going well! :) We just moved and just have enough for bills and food right now. A dollar extra would be more than we have. Plus we have 5 kids who need some kind of Christmas. So, we have already discussed with the landlord that she will be inside like she's been her entire life.

@LovingMyBabies But she would still have to go outside to use the bathroom, the dog run will keep her in your yard.

@LovingMyBabies me too. You know, the other day, i saw a fat healthy-looking puppy thrown at the street. It broke my heart. It breaks my heart to see dogs loitering around the the street and i have no capability to save them. I have a dog, my family owns dogs. We dont tie them. They live with us not outside the house. And i cannot and will never understand people who hate dogs or have them as their pets not as family.

Yes, do whatever you have to do to protect your dog. There is a sign here on one of the main highways that some people put up in big letters that says DOG KILLER NEXT DOOR. Obviously, something like that happened. Too bad they can't move.

@snowy22315 Oh yes she is staying inside now, which is where she's always been. The outside thing was not what we wanted but we were going to try because we needed a good home. However now, she is definitely coming back inside!

Such hardness of heart can only be eating your neighbor up from the inside. One has to wonder what happened to him to make him so vile. He surely needs prayers to free him from the prison he's built himself.

That guy really does need to know Jesus. I pray he won't harm your dog. We didn't have church this morning because of the snow, but we watched Brian Biggers on TV. He's a non-denominational preacher at a friend's church. If we lived closer to them, that's where we would go to church.

@1creekgirl We don't have to worry about it now because we are keeping her inside like she's always been. We never liked the idea of her being outside and this confirmed she's not supposed to be out there. I'm glad you got to watch a sermon! :) I love having access to sermons outside of a church building we can watch all week long.

I'm sorry your neighbor reacted so badly toward your dog. Can you keep him chained so he won't go in his yard? Here we have leash laws and dogs need to be on chains if they are in an unfenced yard. I'm glad you had a good day overall. Nice picture. My day was good.

@just4him Our dog has always been an inside dog for 10 years we have had her. When we were in the motel we took her outside on a leash only but here we didn't think/know she would leave the yard. Now that this happened though she will be an inside dog which is what she has always been.

That's a shame. I hope you're able to find some way to keep your dog from going onto his property. I always worried about dogs coming into our place and worrying the sheep but his reaction seems pretty extreme.

@noni1959 It's harder for my husband who has to work with him every day. We don't see him at all otherwise because he's almost a mile away from our house. The rule to living here was our dog had to become an outdoor dog (which we didn't like but dealt with). Now that this happened though she will be back to an indoor dog like she's always been. Sounds like you're having a good day, I'm glad! :)

That’s a wonderful photo. I’m so sorry your neighbor is such an angry and negative man. Is it possible to walk your sweet dog on a leash when he’s home? Our day has been wonderful. We had brunch all the way down in Miami and took the scenic route along the ocean home. I couldn’t ask for anything more than that. We are now waiting for our son and his wife to FaceTime us with Doodles. They were in Boston overnight and stayed with friends.
