Tomorrow I will start my Christmas jams. There are some apricots on the grass, partly eaten by Luna. That means that surely there are some ripe apricots in the tree.
I also think that the prunes of the tree on the street are ripe. I´ll check them tomorrow too.
I will need more sugar to make my jams. They will be my Christmas presents for my friends and family.

@marguicha That's a very good idea. Some fruits freeze really well, don't they?

@Tina30219 They love it as they are made only with fruit and sugar. And most of my friends work so they don´t have time to make jam.

I know they do. I have been making jams for them for many years.

@LadyDuck I´d love to have a fig tree, but I´m too old to plant one now.

@marguicha I have a tree in the garden and there are many fig trees in the area around, they are free to pick up.

@marguicha Yes, it was actually not something I did on purpose. I was intending just to make apple jam but I had some nectarines that needed using so I threw them in too and it ended up being one of the nicest flavours.

Apricots are tasty and I can imagine how jam will taste Birds give us an indication when fruits are ready for harvesting but for you Luna does it (lol)

We have had to place Luna in the other side of the garden (she will destroy that too). But Leticia found out that her poo was not good and that it had apricot pits in it.

I used to make lots of jams for my family only when the girls were small. They never lasted as long as I wished. Now I live alone and I give away some jam and also offer apricots from my tree to friends. But they have to come and gather them.
