Since I lost my father last year, I can no longer feel the excitement for this holiday but I need to be strong for my brother & mom. But now that my brother is also gone and my mom is bed-ridden due to stroke, I don't really know what to feel anymore. But still, I'll celebrate for Jesus, I think that's all what matters the most.

Looks gloomy for you but I guess you should still celebrate it somehow with them. It may not be as merry as in the past but maybe more solemn and spiritual which is much more important than the partying here and there.

It's clearly different when you celebrate it for the first time without the dearest people in your life.
