I hope I am not getting it again

I have had 3 UTIs (Urinary Tract Infection) in my day. Two when my kids were babies, then the last one not too many years ago. Always, antibiotics help. For the past week, I have had a slight feeling one may be coming on. One thing that I have been told helps prevent one, is to drink Cranberry Juice. I bought some this past week and have been drinking some everyday. I do think it has helped some, but I just have this iffy feeling. I pray I don't get another one because I don't want to have to go to our Emergency Clinic in town, unless I have too.

I sure hope you can prevent a bad case. Cranberry juice and lots of water may help. If you start vomiting and have chills, please get to the hospital right away! Don't wait like I did when a kidney stone blocked the urethra and I went into septic shock. Thank God they got to me in time, but I'll sure never put off going for help like that again. I just didn't realize how serious the situation was. UTI's are bad stuff. Hope you get better soon.

Those are awful to cope with. Cranberry juice is a godsend. I'd also talk to your GYN and get yourself to your GP. These are nothing to mess with. You do have a GP, don't you? (Giving a stern look)

They have over the counter stuff you can take now that helps..It is made by AZO. You might want to pick up some yogurt too.

Keep up the cranberry juice and I see Snowy has recommended yoghurt. Hopefully you can prevent a full-blown attack.

I'm sorry to hear that, I have never had one so I don't know what to tell ya to help with it. But hopefully you won't be getting it and everything will be fine.

When I have had them, they hurt a lot, but luckily antibiotics prescribed by a doctor helps.
