So, i had mentioned the other day, I saw a Kitchenaid Mixer on Offerup for 25 dollars, well when I had asked a question about the product, the lady selling it said it had been sold, so I was thinking figures, it isn't going to last long at that price, anyway, last night she texted me and said the buyer never showed up, and asked if I still wanted it..I was very surprised and said, yes, I want it..anyway, I asked her not to sell it to anyone else, and promised I would show up on Saturday, since she isn't going to be home tomorrow, and plus it will rain all day. Anyway, looks like I am going to get the mixer. She has some attachments with it, I hope it has the dough hook.! What do you like to do with your Kitchenaid Mixer?

I love my KitchenAid! I actually have 2. I have an Artisan and a 6 Quart Professional. I use the 6 quart Professional most of the time. I use it for bread dough, pasta dough, cookie dough, cake batters, icings, whipped cream, and even to make my husband's grandmother's mashed potato recipe that requires that they are whipped. I also have the pasta roller attachment set. I use the pasta roller to make pasta sheets for lasagna and homemade ravioli and also pasta sheets that I then use the fettuccine roller to cut into fettuccine. I never use the spaghetti cutter.

Well that sounds good. I run into things sometimes that say to use the "paddle attachment" with the Kitchenaid..but I can't even find it for sale..and she said it doesn't come with it.?? It comes with various accessory beaters and I hope the dough hook, not sure.

@snowy22315 This is the paddle attachment. You just need to make sure you get the right one for YOUR mixer. I just saw a post by KitchenAid support on Twitter yesterday saying that they aren't all interchangeable which makes sense as the bowls are different sizes.

Even if it doesn't have the dough hook, you could save up to get it. I have a kitchen aid mixer sort of I mean, it was my mom's and it's at my dad's. I don't talk to my dad. There's also my grandmother's that I could claim as mine since she has passed away and I think everyone else has one. $25 is a steal for a kitchenaid!

Yeah, that is what I thought.Another place on the site they were selling one for 160! So. Even if I don't use this a lot I could easily resell it for more. I am pretty sure I will keep and use this though.

@snowy22315 Yeah, I wouldn't re-sell it ever, I think you'd come to regret it. Even if you don't use it often, it's there for when you do.

No shows are too common! I always say pending instead of sold until it is sold for sure. Awesome news for you though yay

Oh yes, I know..people are ridiculous. I have sold many items on different sites..and they seem to come up with every excuse in the book, why they can't show up, and complete the purchase! You are right though...YAY me!

That’s super! Since I don’t cook much, it sits in a cabinet with all the other new stuff I’ve never used. I did make whipped cream now that I think about it. It’s a 6 quart with every attachment imaginable.

This has happened to us before too. We've missed out on something then been contacted to say it's available after all.
