And then it Rained

The weather forecasters said it would rain today. I had a moment of hope when I let the dogs out at 5:30 a.m. because it was warm (relative to the last few days) at 47F (8C), but it was not raining.
An hour later, after I'd gotten ready for work and made my coffee, I let the dogs our for 2nd potties and, you guessed it, it was raining.
We are supposed to get a lot of rain today, tonight, and tomorrow. How much rain, you ask? Well, I'll put it this way, while the dogs were out for 2nd potties a big semi-truck drove down our street with a load of lumber on the back and a sign on the side reading "Noah's Specialty Building Products, Gopher Wood For Sale."
Does anyone have plans for an Ark?

It's raining here as well, they were right about it here too. I hope flooding won't be too bad where you are.

@LovingMyBabies I haven't seen any updates on the river level here, but when my wife and I were out yesterday the creeks we crossed were all very high. When all that water drains into the river, there will be problems.

@DWDavis One of our earlier dogs would get wet, have fun and then come and stand in front of me expecting me to dry her up.

@DWDavis So far just some sprinkles. Weatherman said right now it is the 3rd wettest on record. I dont want to move up any.

Raining here too. Snow melting too which scared me and Lily. Even though it was raining, Lily went out with me to get the mail and take out the trash. She was meowing when I got home from the mailbox wanting in the house.
