Lonely

My friends invited me to a party ... when there each and everyone of them had a boyfriend... and the music was put they all went on the dance floor and they all were dancing... after the music they came back to our table and they started teasing me and making fun of me...they said I was gonna grow old still waiting for my Mr Right...I stood my ground and told them I dint wanna rush things with life... when I went back home... I noticed I was thinking about what they said... and it's kinda true...a girl my age is not supposed to be alone....
What do you think I should do....

hey, love happens when it happens, honestly when you're not looking for it. the more you dwell on how lonely you feel, the worse it's gonna make you feel. it took me over 20 years to not be lonely but i'm honestly glad i waited that long.
besides being single can be great, you only have to look out for yourself :)
you never know, maybe someday soon it will happen for you

seek for a partner. i used a phone service last time. free internet service once, once a friend found me one, etc. don't be too picky. you never know. just don't marry till you are sure

@Karenmm it is what i did. but i am lonely now because i am to old and disabled to find another and my wonderful dear hubby has gone on to heaven many years back

@Karenmm If someone makes fun of you or criticizes you then you don't need those kind of people in your life. There are 8 billion people on the earth. There is a big choice!

Really? you're going to be pressured by your peers? I guess they're not telling the problems they're having in their own respective relationship. Don't let it get to you and enjoy your simple single life.

I know perfectly how you feel, not if you are alone, especially that feeling is seen when you are in the company of couples, but do not worry about what others say to you.

I have been single for over a year and I am happy. Enjoy your time alone until you find that right person because being single you are free, there is less drama, less heartbreak. Love happens when it is suppose to happen. Sure I get lonely at times and then I roll over on my bed and happy I have more space to myself haha
