How do bots take surveys and is that really, THAT big of a problem?

I know there are supposedly some kind of programs you can get, that might automate things like surveys or random drawings and the like, but I don't know how many people actually own something like that. I mean all of these survey companies now have all these verification checks to prevent fraud and some of them are annoying. I bet there are only maybe one out of every 50,000 people that use some kind of bot to try to take surveys..What do you think?

All I know is that these bots have made life miserable for us who do surveys.

I think it is a good security measure to try and keep hackers from our online accounts.

Perhaps, but it is not my experience that survey xcompanies are overly concerned about survey takers, although I could be wrong. It,s been known to happen.

I would have to agree. I am sure that there are a few, but I also think it would be a waste of time to develop such a bot anymore. I'm sure people are nowing trying to develop bots for bitcoins and have forgotten about surveys.

@snowy22315 I won't be so reckless as to try to put my money in it. I don't have trust in bitcoin as others do.

I've never really thought about it but I don't know how bots could be used either.

I guess they can be programmed to do it but there would have to be so many variables I don't see how it would work that well.

It only takes a small handful of real live people running these bots to create as many fake accounts and game a system as there are real live people trying to actually use the system correctly.

Maybe..but not sure how profitable it would be.

There are some questions that check if we are bots.

Yes but I doubt if many are using bots.

I understand your point. But if it’s for security, let’s just accept it.

Not quite sure how secure it is.
