Hot Chocolate and Christmas Lights

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Two more days until Christmas and I'm so excited. I almost feel like a kid this year with the anticipation of the big day.
Of course, being surrounded by family makes the day special but what makes it even extra special is......it's my birthday!!
Tonight we're going to go out and look at the Christmas lights in surrounding neighborhoods and pick up hot chocolate at Dunkin Donuts to drink while we see how pretty the decorations are. It's been awhile since I've been out looking at lights so I'm really going to enjoy it tonight.
Do you go out and look at Christmas lights? It's fun and some people are minimalists while others are over the top. Plus it's free entertainment!!

That sounds like a nice night that you have planned.
We used to go out and drive around and enjoy the artistic displays of lights.
There was a couple, whom we know, that used to set up a little train in their front yard and it would be working, the cars full of gifts. Our son always loved to stop there and watch the train for a while. They used to get so much traffic that the police would need to come by and make sure that cars were not blocking driveways in case of an emergency.
I know that its early, but I'd like to wish you a very Happy Birthday, and of course a Merry Christmas to you and to your entire family.

You birthday is today or Christmas day? When we were kids my parents always drove around looking for Christmas lights on houses. I wasn't very excited about it but it was what my parents enjoyed just going for drives. I am not out much at night to see lights but I have been out twice and saw some pretty ones.

I don't think we are going to go look at the lights this year, maybe tomorrow, but with work being so crazy. I dnt know. I work from one to nine tomorrow and then have to go to Walmart and the liquor store before coming home.

We used to go riding around to look at the lights every year when i was growing up. I loved it. And i miss it now.
