It is a cold, windy and rainy day out here in Northern California. I am glad it did not rain on us in Southern California. I checked my farm today and things look good. If you look closely, you can see that there are several snow peas ready to be picked. The succulent in the corner is doing well. And my personal redwood tree is happy. How is the weather where you are? I'm glad I get to relax and (maybe) watch football today. My guitar will also see some action, as well as the books I'm reading.

@TheHorse I love a nice rainy day. Here in Florida it gets so hot in the summer and sometimes we don't see rain for awhile and other times it will rain everyday in a rain off and on. I get my gardening stuff ready and by the time I get outside it is raining. If I wait 1/2 an hour it is gone.

It is chilly up here in Spokane, Washington but it could be a lot, lot worse. We are having a light snow year which makes me happy. I hate driving on icy roads. Looking forward to spring, though. Days aren't getting longer fast enough!

@beckish Spring is my favorite season. It means rebirth to me. Here in California, there are already signs of Spring. The hills (which will be brown by May, when others in the US are admiring buds on trees) are starting to turn green.

I miss the snow from my Midwestern days. But I've been spoiled here and don't know that I could tolerate three or four months of Winter.

Gusty winds, branches down, tree down....normal Oregon weather in our area. We'll be back with rain tomorrow and maybe even some snow tomorrow night. Glad parts of CA is getting rain.

My friend Debbie has some of our stuff up there, I think. One of my John Prine songs might be there, but the harmonies were not as I wanted. I'm going to redo that one one of these days and put it on YouTube. Let me check and see if it's actually there. We were recording stuff for her "album" and had 15 minutes of extra studio time left.

@TheHorse Actually the weather is weird here. We got some snow on Wednesday and it was gone by Friday and now today it is the middle of winter and it is really nice outside.
