Can You Earn Money on MyLot? Is It Really Worth It?

For me, MyLot really isn't a good site to make money. But it is worth it as a discussion site, for chatting when I am bored. It's a fun way to kill time. But I think we need change here... We dont seem to have that kick anymore..
I would like to see more offers.. like we had at the other site.. We hade paid to sign up, like videos, searches things like that.. we even need paid to watch videos here.. like other site have. Im sorry I love mylot.. But We need more here..
Honestly, it can get a bit boring. There are no deep or meaningful discussions to be found. I would prefer to have a little more variety in my discussions. Maybe we need the old site back .. or even paid to chat here.. Please dont get me wrong ive met so many people here thanks to mylot.. But we need change. Thats just my opinion..

I am guilty of writing basically the same thing every day as many others. I know what I write is boring to others and vice versa. But life is routine that way. There are reasons why a lack of the deep and meaningful discussions you would like. People come here to escape and have some fun and light reading nothing heavy. Deep meaningful conversations tend to be of a political nature that can turn nasty and has driven members away. We are fortunate that myLot is here and paying something because similar sites keep biting the dust. Better something than nothing. What subjects do you suggest that you would like to see here?

I think this is the longest comment I've ever seen from you John but what you say is very true. MyLot is a bit of escapism for many of us. For me, I share things here that no-one else seems interested in. Maybe members here are more polite than my friends.

i think it is great how it is. better then a few years ago when you had to make a lot to get paid and by the way... maybe you just don't search enough for the great posts. i have found more then i can answer on here many times about a variety of subjects. search for what you like to discuss for pete sakes !!

I'm sorry it's not what you are looking for. This site to me is awesome! I love the daily discussions, I'm not looking to get rich and I love the friendships I have made here as well. =)

It's a discussion site, if you don't like the discussions offered you can put up some you like. Money, it depends, on what you mean by that..for most the money is secondary to the chatting and interaction.

I agree with the fact that if you want to make big bucks, this isn't the place for you. I enjoy myself here by having discussions with other people, and the money part is just a fun bonus. I do agree that the discussions can get quite meaningless. People are sometimes starting them without even thinking, just to make some cash.

Back when I had a lot of time it worked great for to have a little extra cash every month. Now as a mom do three my time on here is limited and to all about having something that gets people wanting to talk to you and you to talk back. If your no being proactive on here it’s not going to work for you. It’s not just sit and see if premise start building you got to actually work for it. Sorry it’s not panning out for you.

I'm not here for "the big bucks." That's why I get up and go to work every morning. It's nice to have a little, and I'll admit it's paid for a couple of t-shirts, but mostly I'm here for the people and the fun.

I was not here in the days of "old" mylot but the site as it is now works well. We get paid for interacting, which is unheard of. So, it's great this site exists. And changing it up might not be a good thing.

I enjoy my time here. It is my favorite place to be when I am not online. I think it is perfect just the way it is and it works just fine in my opinion. Perhaps this isn't the right site for you. It is not for everybody. Many have come and gone but others have been here since it began. To each their own...

I think this site is for writing discussions in English. It's good for fun and improvement knowlege of English language. I think that someone who only wants to make money through the internet does not have much to expect from the site, but for smaller money it's great.
