What did you have for breakfast today?

I had a busy day today, even though I didn't work. I discussed business with a colleague, practiced guitar, updated my account information with FasTrak (which reads my license plate and deducts $5 when I cross a bridge), went to the doctor (I'm OK) and had lunch with a friend (Japanese). But none of this could have happened without my tasty and nutritious breakfast. What did I have? A raw Oscar Mayer weenie. This is what I sometimes gobble up when I am too lazy or overwhelmed to cook or even throw together a bowl of cereal. Please note that I presented the silverware correctly and added an attractive garnish. What did you have for breakfast today? Did it help you have a productive morning? Did you pay attention to presentation?

I had a low carb chicken casserole. Hot dogs are good when you need something quick!

Surely raw weenies can't be good for you. I don't mean just as junk food but couldn't they be full of salmonella or other nasty bugs? Just askin'.

@TheHorse Lunch meats and hot dogs are culprits for Listeria, pre cooked or not.

I only had scrambled eggs for breakfast. I had a busy day too. I had a corporate meeting which started at 10am and ended at 4. I had a great lunch though. Korean food!

I had one of those too (although it wasn't a 'high-falootin' brand like Oscar Meyer ... I think it was a 'generic' brand (somethin` like Walmart's "Great Value"-brand) ... along with two mini breakfast-burritos, some sweet-peas, a little Black-Eyed Pea stew, and a granola bar. I added the hot-dog to it (which what we `Mericans call ... that meat-product ) because my doctor told me to eat fewer carbs, and most meat has ZERO carbs.

Heh. I remember the label on something...not SPAM but like it...it said "potted meat food product." Didn't sound very appetizing.

For breakfast this morning I had Cheerios (the generic version). Every morning, I have either Cheerios or Corn Flakes at home. And I haven't gone out to eat for breakfast in months, although I do go out to eat for lunch quite often.

Been waking up late like 11 AM and sometimes noon. My breakfast no matter what time I wake up is the same thing: a cup of coffee. That's it! Then I have to wait for my stomach to decide what I should eat.

Your photo made me laugh, but the hotdog for breakfast doesn't sound too bad! I had a plain toasted bagel, with cream cheese, 1/2 a banana, and a latte. It was good

I had an early appointment today, so I got ready, and set out to do a little errand in town and got it all done. So I left with just coffee; I might add just half of what I usually drink for the day. I'll catch up when I go home. So it's an intermittent fasting I do when I got to go out early today. I sometimes have a bowl of cereal for dinner when I'm bushed and hungry, but too lazy to cook. I just got some Nathan's Hot Dog on sale $3 for a package of 12 hot dogs on sale. I got some at Auntie Anne's Pretzel's shop at our shopping center, Pearlridge Center one day and loved the hot dog I got. Some hot dogs don't taste like they did when I was a child, but Nathan's hot dog was delicious. I get nothing but Nathan's hot dog now.
