Our house stay partly lighted during blackouts, thanks to these intelligent lamps that doubles as rechargeable lamp. What about you? Do you have generators or solar panels for these situations?

@yoalldudes It sounds like a very useful idea. We don't have blackouts very often, but when it happens it is sometimes hard to remember where we put the flashlight last time we used it.

We used to do that and scream in fear in the dark trying to recall where we have put the flashlight, candles. But now our home is well lighted and we don't have to bother looking for these items during blackouts that is why I really like this innovation.

That is good that you rarely have blackouts. The good thing about this intelligent lamp is it stays on during blackouts. It's as if there is no blackout. It costs $3.

I highly recommend for you this intelligent lamp. It only cost $3 or 150pesos. It stays on during blackouts, it is as if there is no brownout at all.

I used to have emergency lamps that turn on whenever the power goes out, but they have all stopped working. During a blackout, we usually use our mobile phone torches temporarily. Our apartment complex has a generator than comes on in a few minutes.

I have a trust flashlight for my lighting emergencies. I used to use candles, but I have a cat now. I wouldn't trust her around candles. When I was a kid, my parents would light the Kerosene lamp during power outages.

@yoalldudes Power outages occur almost every time there is a storm. Some regions get hit harder than others, especially in winter storms, but not everyone loses their power. Sometimes the power is out for days/weeks in some rural areas.

Would you prefer this intelligent lamp. You wouldnt have to stumble looking for emergency light because the intelligent lamp stays on during blackouts as if there is no blackout. It amazes our guests because they wonder why the light is still on during bronwnouts lol

The most common way is to use candle. Seldom we will use rechargeable lamp but since we cannot do anything in that dark situation so we will just sit down at a place even it is dark and wait for he electricity to back to recover. Else, we just go for sleep.

Can't remember the last time we had a blackout. The electricity supply in the UK is very reliable and most people I know don't even bother making preparations.
