If Jesus said WE Would Do Greater Things than he did, Why Do People Still Ask HIM for Help?

He told us NOT to ask Him! He said, 'He's leaving, so we need to do all his work for him!' https://biblehub.com/john/14-12.htm Right?

Absolutely not right. In fact, in the context the next verse says the opposite. The greater works was something that was not yet available to do before the day of Pentecost. Other than that, there is nothing greater we can do.

@MarshaMusselman myself, yes. But no, I don't mean 'what the greater works are'; I mean 'where did Jesus say we CAN'T EVER do the things he did & better'?

Of course, obviously we are greater when it comes to committing sins and crimes
