I HOPE This Is My HOME in the FUTURE

It has been a long time that I am wanting to have an 'A' house in my city. There is no whys and buts this time. I am so driven to achieve this dream house in the future. Once we had our late father's inheritance, my family and I will be able to have this. Dreaming is free and now, I am dreaming BIG for the family. 'What do you hope your home will be like in the future?' 'What do you think is the most important thing for a home?' Image Credit: Shavkat

At this point in time, I am a dreamer and wanted to have this aspiration. If I have this house, I wanted to have a backyard, too.

@Shavkat I moved out of the family house many years ago and was always renting out homes to stay. Became difficult moving out of homes every year so when I got the chance to buy a house that was within my budget I immediately bought it.

@mayka123 It was our plan since my siblings and I started to work. However, there are so many circumstances that happened and spent a lot of money in previous years. Now, it is a high time to chase our dream.

It is nice that you have your own. At present, I am living in the family house and in time, it will be sold. Hopefully, we can build a new one.

I do think that having a house is one of the basic needs. I hope that this shelter can also generate money and help other people.

As long as it is filled with people you love, the rest doesn't matter too much. But there will be less stress if it is big enough for your needs. And the best of luck in bringing your dream to fruition.

@JudyEv Some big houses let the other floors be rented by other people. It is the owner's source of income besides working in a regular job.

I would love to have a house by the sea. My partner and I have already talked about that. We have to wait until our youngest son is grown though, and then we will see what happens. The most important thing for a home for us is that it meets our needs. Of course, it should be filled with people we love. Where we want to move, though, is actually further away from our other (adult) children! Oddly enough, all three of them live near to the sea (different ends of the country). The girls live in a seaside town on the South East coast of England, and our eldest boy lives about half an hour drive from the beach in the North East of England. We live in the middle of the Midlands of England! And we plan on moving to the South West.

I like to have a garden so that I can grow many things I like. If there is a swimming pool, it is even better

A swimming pool is not ideal here in my city. It is cold out here all year round. I am planning to have it if having a house in the countryside. I also wanted to have a backyard.

In time, we will. My family and I are working on it. If we can't have the inheritance concern, we can start having it. Cross-fingers on that.

Hubby, daughtet and I only wants a moderately sized house where one shout can also be heard by those in the bedrooms even if they are in the second floor. But it seems the big house of my in-laws which has 5 bedrooms will be our house once they are gone. Though one shout can still be heard from each bedrooms. Ha ha ha

@Shavkat I don't dream anymore of a house. I am contented of where we live. Father-in-law was buried last Saturday. Less one old person in the house.

@SIMPLYD For us, we need to have our own house. The family house is on the process of selling it. The evil relatives are in the spirit of greediness.

I think you need to a full-blown shout at that big house. I can still have a simple house. For me, I think dreaming big is fine. Since it is free to dream and there is no need to limit oneself of doing it.

I like where I'm at, but should there come a time again when I will move, I hope it's a senior community and there will be things to do in the community room and getting together with other people in the senior community.

I do think that it is a good place for senior citizens to be acquainted in one place. Unfortunately, we don't have like this here in my country. I had seen some films that elders are having fun with such a facility.

I do agree with you for having a comfortable home. My family and I wanted to have a big house and be rented the rest of the rooms by other people. In time, if I am going to be retiring and don't need to work, it is best to have a source of income for the family.

It is quite expensive to buy house and lot here, too. The option for us is to buy a lot first and build the house
