FOLLOWERS on MyLot..

How many of you really care about how many people are following you here? Personally, I want more likes and responses and more followers would be like CHERRY ON THE CAKE.. 
Does the number of followers on MyLot help you progress in the site in any way or does it satisfy you mentally that there are people who are following you? I just want to know if it really matters to you?

If your topics are not interesting then no matter how many followers you have you will not receieve responses and comments from them. All of your discussions are visibile to everyone here regardless of whether they follow you or not.

I have no ideas how many followers I have. I would have to check. Followers mean nothing if they don't read what you write, like it and comment on it.
Once I was on a site where members boasted with their number of followers. Some people had thousands. What for? They didn't become rich because of a high number. On myLot you only earn through interaction.

I have never paid attention to that as I don't really see the purpose of accumulating followers. There is no way that I could read and comment on all the posts on myLot very day.

@Sheali Yes! If someone is following us but never comments on anything we say, what is the point? We are not paid for having followers.

I fully agree with @mysdianait. The number of people who follow you is not at all important.

I have no idea how many followers I have at this time. I know I have certain people who seem to answer my posts more than others. The more that respond the better , I do have people that I respond on their posts often as well but don't follow them .

It doesn’t matter..I don’t follow anyone here. I will respond discussions that interest me the most.

@Sheali I don't mind how many followers I have or don't have. Of course it does help to have at least some so people will find your posts easier. But either way, you can make yourself known by interacting as much as possible.

@leny34 I am not following too many people.. only some with whom I interact and they are also following me..
But I have a few who are following me but never interact.. But it is ok.. I mean you can't force some1 to interact The only thing I did was respond on their post :)
