Was sunny yesterday, no rain. I woke up early today so I could give Danie a walk. The moment we came back home it started raining only for a minute and it stopped. Sunny again now.

Hello, Horse. We were burned out of Paradise and now live in Santa Fe with my son. It snowed yesterday, but just cloudy today. Oh, P.S. I just got a really nice mahogany Ibanez guitar. I just love it So easy to play and such a great tone. Wish I'd gotten one a long time ago

@TheHorse yes there are a lot of artists and galleries here. I'd visited once since Devin moved here and loved it. I had thought I might move here when my folks were gone, didn't expect to come here this abruptly, especially with my 98 year old mother, but here we are. I'm glad at least your friends' guest house was okay, and their animals. I do hope they are able to rebuild.

I was wondering what happened to you. My friends Howie and Carol (she ran that consignment store on the main drag--it's gone) lost their house but not their guest house. Their horses, kitties and even chickens survived. I may go up there and help them rebuild later this Winter. Santa Fe is a prettty cool town, isn't it? Is it still pretty "artsy fartsy"?

Today started with a cloud covered day which I enjoyed walking to the library from the bus stop. Now being here for a few hours I peaked out the big glass windows, and see that blue skies returned. Weather report says till Thurs or Fri sunny with light breezes...but then we are going to have rain...so far not heavy rains.

Dude, you ain't gonna believe this but Friday it's suppose to be 71 degrees here and then on Sunday the high's gonna be 36 and that's in the middle of Texas @TheHorse . Dallas is gonna be like a Popsicle.
