I miss my dryer......................

I did a couple of loads of laundry yesterday, some I could hang indoors but the bigger stuff had to be hung outside. I only have one short laundry line and right now there is a comforter and large piece of material I got from mom's house hanging on it ..... maybe those will dry by noon, but I'm not holding my breath. The picture above was taken last year from the slope off of the mountain on Loop 375, I was facing east and was impressed with the view of the Guadalupe Mountains. Do you post pictures of your hometown?

What a majestic mountain scenery ! We hang the washing on bamboo pole or stainless tube to dry.

If I tried that here the winds would blow my clothes away, the line I use allowed me to use clothes pins to secure the items

I hang my laundry outside in the summer, but use the dryer in the winter. Unfortunately, it somehow manages to scorch one piece. I don't know how it does it, even when it's on low heat.

I usually hang my stuff indoors it it gets too cold but that's hard to do with comforters and sheets.

I've been doing it for over a year now but it gets frustrating when the big stuff needs cleaning.

Boy do I know that feeling @just4him sometimes I wish Carol or Hank would just drive me around so I can take snapshots out the passenger window, that'll never happen though.

It took about 24 hours to dry but they did eventually dry, thankfully. Well, I hope you have a few more to post, for me it's a fun way to see what other parts of my country looks like.

@rebelann There are a couple pictures I want to take around town, but I'm the one driving, so getting the pictures is near impossible.

I'm lucky to have enough lines to hold my washing unless it's a mega wash with lots of sheets. Like the pic.

I'm trying to find a way to create more lines so I can wash more often but so far I just don't have that option @JudyEv

I suppose I have posted a picture or two of my hometown from time to time. Maybe I need to do it more. As for hanging laundry, I have no idea about this. My drawers are usually filled by the magic fairy.

You really should take that magic fairy out to a special dinner, she seems to do a lot for you.

No dryer would be a big bummer especially since hanging outside is NOT an option here right now with weather. I haven't posted pictures of my hometown yet, but I'm not against the idea!

I suppose if you're in one of those areas that gets lots of snow and ice then hanging clothes out wouldn't make much sense.

Thank you. Mine stopped turning about a year or so ago so I quit using it. I really ought to call a repairman.

What about pictures of the town you live in? I'm just curious is all. Thanks, maybe I can find a repairman that will not charge a lot of money.
