The wait has been long enough!

The wait has been long enough! Finally going to see the Hamilton musical. It's tonight. I better not be late to the show. I am not planning to be but it all depends on when my husband leaves work, as we are going together.
I never go to Broadway shows with him on the day that he works because he never knows when exactly he will end. A lot of times he gets held up and by a lot.
Thursday used to be his day off, so when I got the tickets many months ago I got them for a Thursday night show. Now his day off is Wednesday. Fingers crossed that he will be able to leave with enough time for us to get to the venue, pick up our tickets, and maybe even get a bite to eat. Though the most important thing is that we are not late to the show.

By the time he finished work and came to pick me up I felt we didn't have enough time to get to the show the way we normally do, which is to drive into Manhattan and then take the train the rest of the way, without risking being late. So, we just took the train from Brooklyn and it was running express so we got to the venue on time and even had time to spare.

@Happy2BeMe I loved it! Definitely would see it again. Only thing that stops me is the price of the ticket.

We sure did. Just wish the people in front of us were not very tall. I had to move around a lot to see what was happening on the stage.

I did! Seats were not as low as would have liked to sit but they were great seats. If only the people in front of us weren't very tall. The whole time I had to move my head this way and that to see everything happening on the stage. And at times I wasn't able to see every person on stage and what they were doing because the people's height was partially blocking my view.
