I know most of us enjoy dollar store shopping. What are the last item or items you purchased there,if you feel comfortable sharing? I was just at Dollar Tree yesterday, and I bought a refill for soft soap..(they were calling it spa soap) however, fine for me. A one quart bottle was of course a dollar. I also bought a small cookie sheet as I am making some this weekend, and mine are looking a bit rough. I also got Old Orchard low calorie juice..large container. I got some pretty good buys..one of the best things I have seen at the Dollar Store though is button batteries. I do need some for kitty's laser pointer, next trip I guess.

I bought coffee. Before that? I bought peanut butter valentine candies. I was going to buy some shamrock lights but didn't. I'm so proud of myself for not buying unnecessary items.

It is sometimes hard to stop yourself from buying things you hadn't planned on buying at the dollar store..I think most of us go in for one or two things and come out with 5 or 10.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I usually only buy things there..if I think it is likely I can not find it for less.or is something that I do have a pressing need for,,but I'm not perfect. I am swayed by a deal as easy as the next person!

While at Dollar Tree yesterday, I cleared the shelf of French vanilla flavored coffee, then grabbed a jar of hair gel, 2 wreath embellishments & antiperspirant.

I was looking at the hair color..I have been afraid to buy it there thinking it would turn my hair green or something but I trust DT. They have been selling it for awhile so it must work OK. It was permanent though..so I shied away.

@snowy22315 Years ago, I always used Paul Mitchell hair products, leaving my hair thick. Then, when Dollar Tree came into the scene, I started using the products on their shelves. Now my hair is thin and brittle although keeping up with regular salon visits. Yes, I use plenty of conditioner. I still want Paul Mitchell but cannot afford.

I bought stocking stuffers, make up and beauty items for my girls. For my oldest son I got legos there and the little guys to go with it. The little ones I got big blocks and bouncy balls for. =) I love going but it's kind of far so I don't get there much.

Same with me..we only have Dollar General and Family Dollar right in this community, and I am thrilled with neither. I love Dollar Tree.

@Courtlynn I actually took a glance at the pizza pans too. I have a pan, and a stone..but the pan has seen better days, and I don't use the stone very often.

@snowy22315 we haven't had juicy juice in years, but I randomly picked up at thing a few days ago and enjoyed it so wanted more, and my brother ate half the gum we bought then, so had to get more. the pizza pan is for the frozen pizzas when my brother and bf are here. otherwise, we wouldn't need it .

@snowy22315 Here that is not the case. Grocery store is high, Walmart is low but just going in there is traumatic, way too big,

I love these stores but don't often go into them. I think the last item I bought there would have been yarn.

Yarn can be pricy so if you got it for a dollar, it was certainly a bargain!

I figure that dollar store is similar to a Japanese Store here which sells most items at same price. The last item I bought was an eyebrow gel.

@snowy22315, did you know that I bought a foundation which has a good effect on my face. My officemates were asking me about it and I told them a different brand which is 10 times more expensive, my secret is after applying the foundation I followed it on with Nivea cream and presto flawless, shiny skin.
