I published an article on the science fiction site and an article on the general site. I also republished a post on the new electronics site and one on the new food blog. These were socially promoted and I made the usual posts and interactions on myLot and bitLanders. I wrote three articles for later use. I did some work on two role playing game supplements and on two articles for the general site. Approximately 7,500 words were written today. I also did some drawing. Image: Morguefile

Just wondering if you keep a detail count of words written. I have read of some who spend almost as time counting and recording as they do writing. No mean feat in this day of computing! Some 'experts' say you should keep a close count. Sounds a bit of chore

I keep a reasonable count. I only fully note those done for some articles and work and it doesn't take that long. Just use Word to check the difference in wordcount. I basically keep data like that in case HMRC asks for it - again. They once complained I hadn't made a note of specific work done they never told me I needed to.

@egdcltd HMRC seem to work on the principle that you should know more about their rules than they do

@Ronrybs Sad but true! It's literally impossible for anyone to know all of the rules. Neither HMRC employees nor experts do.
