Oh My Aching Back

United States
January 19, 2019 8:16am CST
Sometime yesterday my back went out. It was totally unexpected and quite a surprise. I don't know what I did but it's painful to say the least. I barely got any sleep and I'm not comfortable in any position. The good news is my daughter is home and can help. She just brought me a cup of coffee so you know she's my favorite child today

sorry to hear this. When sleeping do you put a pillow under your legs to alleviate some of the pain there?

I'm propped up on the recliner and can't do much. It's a struggle to get to the bathroom

That's rough that your back went out, good timing though if your daughter is home. I have a disc that slips out of place now and again too, its so painful and awkward. Take care today.

Thanks! The pain is pretty bad but I've had back issues for many many years but should be okay in a few days

I know what you mean with back pain. Can your daughter make you a message or maybe you can do some back stretches, I find that when I stretch slowly it helps.

No idea what caused it but it's something that happens once in awhile. The pain is horrible

Sometimes I just need to bend over a little and my back goes. It does take much at all and usually it is without warning.

I am like you, I almost cannot move and I cannot understand why my back is so much in pain. Good luck to you, nobody here to help me.

Whenever I have had back pain I have used a heating pad. Hope the pain goes away and you feel better again. I know things like that can be annoying. I got back from my morning shopping today and lay down to read for a while and my sciatica started stabbing along my left leg and I could not find a comfortable position to lay down in.

Hopefully your back pain is just muscular and with rest will go away. Do you take anything like Advil for the pain?
