Free Toilet Paper and Bleach

I do love it when I get free stuff and what is better than getting free toilet paper and bleach? Those are item you will use often.
Today is super Saturday at Dollar General, meaning you can use a $5 off $25 coupon that is located on a receipt from the week before, since I had not been in my sister gave me one yesterday.
This is how I got free toilet paper and bleach.
Toy have to have $25 worth before the $5 will come off so I got my dogs food because they will "have" to have it.
Pedigree - $10
Dog chow - $9.50
Angel soft toilet paper - $5.00
Bleach - $1.00

Total pre tax = $25.50
DG coupon = -$5.00
Angel soft coupon + - $1.00
--------------------------------------------
Total pre tax = $19.50
Add tax = $2.05
--------------------------------------------
Total out of pocket = $21.55
I got the toilet paper and bleach free.
That is how I love to shop for things that are a must have.

The dog food is cheaper there so I always think about it, even is I get 3 bags of dog food that is still $5.00 less.

@andriaperry It all adds up. I always shop during the week. And I have been using gift cards (like from Bing and Swagbucks) to order from WalMart online things I would usually get there. Free shipping and better deals shipped to my door.

@andriaperry I do the same thing. When the grocery store has the big roll packs of 48 on sale for 7.27 I usually get 3 of them. And its Royale, which we like.

We don't have access to a Dollar General, darn it! Yes, we do use buy one get one free coupons, quite often. Jay clips coupons from the Sunday Newspaper, to save on certain items, that we will always be using. TP is one of the main items, he always gets a discount on.

@andriaperry Jay uses those auto-parts store coupons, to purchase things for our cars. Also, for tools, saw blade replacements, batteries, sand paper, drill bits, and all kinds of non-grocery items. Myself, I don't even consider those stores, for anything! lol

Back when the coupons were good I would only pay the tax up to $5. Those were the good old days.
