Too much snow?

Alot of people have gotten snow now, and feel ambivalent about it, but likely it could always be worse. Check out some of the pics of some of the top snowfalls ever..and maybe your might seem more tolerable. I think the overall record was in Japan at approximately 38.5 feet. Just imagine that! Over the top of most of our houses.

Yikes! I'm where I want to be in the winter - away from snow, ice, and cold.

@Courage7 It's hard to even imagine really, and I grew up in snow country. My parents area broke a snow record last year. My dad fell in a drift, and had to be helped up by a passing motorist.

I love snow. I don't think I would get tired of it as long as I didn't have to worry about not being able to go anywhere. I still don't think I could deal with 39 feet of snow though.

I like the pic of the bus going through walls and walls of snow. Somebody did a Helluva a good job clearing that highway!

I always found that snowfall is beautiful, the hush that it brings over the world, the beautiful swirls that the flakes make when the wind has pushed them here and there. We used to live out in the country, and winter was really beautiful and always a season that I have enjoyed.

I enjoy snow but driving in it or on it can be hazardous.

@snowy22315 That's the downfall isn't it? And sometimes the visibility can make driving miserable.

I looked at some pictures yesterday of large snowfalls. It made me anxious for the snow to fall here. Our storm comes in tonight and all day tomorrow.

That's definitely a lot of snow. We're getting quite a bit of snow today, although not nearly as much as that.

Yes, but sometimes excessive snow melt can cause floods.
