Now I found a wooden painted Santa hanging on a door knob in the basement. I probably hung it there as I was gathering things to bring up and probably never brought it up.

That's so sad it's all put away. I hate to see Christmas depart. That's why I still have everything up yet. I'll take it down on February 1st. Now your life has returned to normal and you can look forward to Valentine's Day.

I do that some years, too. I'll see one thing that I didn't put away and promptly put it away. I try to get all of the decor put away, but from time to time I'll see one that just kept wanting to be displayed.

I try to put a positive spin on it like well, I guess I'll have an extra good Christmas this coming year!

That is Cool looking. We have some decorations around the house, and most of the time the things like a Crocheted Santa and Snowman we never bother removing anymore.
