What did you have for lunch today? The Horse tries something new!

I've been eating Trader Joe's Shiitake Mushroom Chicken for years, but I've been negligent over the past couple of years about having rice to go with it. Maybe it's because of the increasing number of 4-year-olds asking me if there is a baby in my tummy.
Anyway, earlier this week, I scored some vegetarian fried rice, and today, I had my mushroom chicken, but I added the fried rice, along with some fresh snow peas harvested from my balcony "garden." The result was absolutely delicious!
I should be in good shape for this afternoon's hike. What did you have for lunch today? Do you like to add the "new" to the familiar"?

For lunch today I heated up some tomato bisque in the microwave. I also had a bologna sandwich to go along with it.
Soup and sandwich are one of my favorite things to have for lunch, especially on a cold winter day.

I had some of last night's leftover fried chicken, some leftover spoonbread, and some green beans.
I used to work at Trader Joe's, but I don't remember the Shiitake Mushroom Chicken... I should stop by there sometime and get a package to try.

Today my lunch wss very boring. I don't like it. All were with peas and potatoes. Cabbage was somehow okay. But hate today's lunch. Good one wasthe fish only.

Baby in your tummy 
. Nothing like adding crunchy fresh vegetables to stuff! I had leftover Buddha bowl stuff. Do you guys have a Freshii's up there? They have all kinds of bowls - and we like the Buddha one - we made a copycat recipe at home.

I had one of my homemade bean and cheese burritos I make a bunch all at once and freeze them so they are always waiting one me.
