How steep is your learning curve?

When it comes to all things techie my learning curve is rather steep compared to other things. It's kind of frustrating but I trudge on and bang my head around until I get a handle on it. However, there are times I give up and walk away when it comes to coding and such. How about you, what are the things you struggle with? How steep do you think is your learning curve?

When it comes to computer and the software or the like, I really don't have the patience to repeatedly ask how it is being done. Though, sometimes out of need of how something is done because it is necessary, I jot down the stepo by step "how to do it", so I can have a ready copy each time.

@sofssu Me too. I can't understand by myself online tutorials. I somehow get stuck at some difficult points .

@SIMPLYD That is good, but most of the time I have to figure it on my own from sources online and then i am stuck.

The only thing I hate are numbers, I am pretty good in maths but it's not something I like. I have a more hard time learning something mathematic.

@DianneN As a student I was a university gold medalist, but then the moron in me comes out when i am watching a tutorial or some vert techie explanation of how to do things. Recently I was trying to add something on my blog and messed up the whole setup like crazy.

Pretty steep, but I am improving. I am sure I am better on the computer then some,,and definitely worse than others. My ex roommate was pretty techy and he helped me learn certain things.

Technoology is a never ending stream. I cannot say I am an expert but can absorb stuff when it is explained to me. However I know it is only this much I can absorb.

@WorDazza You are the expert here, how can you even say that you share my despair.. I bet you don't even understand how steep the climb is for me who has only used a computer for emails and maybe some word documents.

I did not grow up with technology but managed to get a handle on those that I needed to do both at the office and for personal needs. Thankfully, they are becoming user-friendly. I have a mental block at times though - siva

@sofssu I am not good at understanding instruction manuals. I make it clear when over the phone that they need to be more than clear to make it easier than just reel off from their point of view only - siva
