I am so excited!!

The sun is shining like the beauty that it is, and I am excited. It is only 22F or about (minus)6C, but there is no wind and there is glorious sunshine. The birds and I are happy.
I am also excited as we finally got a call for an appointment at the urologist at the VA. It will still be a couple of weeks, but it is about the date he would have seen the old doctor.
So, with the sun shining, birds chirping, I think I am going to step outside.

Yes, I will just be doing things like putting trash out, some more, and putting recycleables in the car. It is nice though.

It seems like forever since we have seen sun. Last sunny spell happened when hubby was in the hospital and so I saw nothing of it to speak of. It is winter, but it is also depressing.

@GardenGerty It is very cold here also. I went out with hot water to thaw the water in the bowl for the birds, but it froze again after only a few minutes.

It's a gorgeous day here too, but we got dumped on with the storm that is passing through. Luckily the man across the street saw us struggling and came over and took care of part of our driveway. We should have brought our snowblower with us, but never dreamed that we would ever need it again... and the weight of it, would have meant that it would have cost a fortune to ship anyway.

You may only need it once or twice a year. Better in my opinion to have someone else do it.

@GardenGerty If this year is any indication... every day in the coming week would be when we could use it. As long as it's nice out thought, I like going out into the fresh air and clearing the snow!! But, as we get older, having someone do it for us is going to be a necessity!!
