She just can't get enough!
Shoes, that is. I don't know how many pairs she has but she is always ordering online and then huffing, puffing and sighing when they don't suit. So back to the store they go and a few days later another pair drop through the post!
I have two pairs of good shoes and three pairs of trainers and that's more than enough for me

@ThreeTeddies MEN mightn't but ladies do. Let's see. I'm pretty old and don't work so I need less than most. I have a pair of rubber boots for outside work in winter, one pair of thongs (sorry, flipflops) for summerwear, one pair of crocs (winter wear - too cold for thongs [sorry, flipflops], one pair of light sandals (casual going out in summer), one pair of black shoes with a small heel (for anything that calls for something a bit dressy) and about four pairs of sneakers in various states of (dis)repair. Then I have two pair of short boots which if I polish them I can wear out or if I need strong work boots, they're it. And a pair of very dressy Italian sandals - bought in Italy no less! I think that's about it other than a couple of pairs of flat shoes which could really be thrown out.

My wife has very small feet and she can have problems finding shoes she likes in her size

I have three pairs of sneakers. One was too small on my daughter so I wear them even though they are more snug then I would like. Due to that I do not wear them when I will be walking a lot. One is an old pair for mowing the lawn and the other is my usual sneakers I wear most often.
I do have a beat up pair of rain boots, dress shoes I never have the occasion to wear, winter boots and hiking boots.

My mother-in-law was like that... sort of. She would look and look and look until she found the perfect shoe and then she would by them in every color. I think for me, it would be lipstick lol... I guess we all have our little quirks. :)

I used to have many different pairs of shoes many moons ago when I lived in NYC and I had to got to work every day. Now I work at home and wear slippers. I got out in Crocs which I have 4 of in different colors to coordinate with my clothes and two pairs of sports shoes in case I need them and that is it.

I have five pairs of shoes all-together. One pair I only wear inside the house and one pair I wear in the winter and fit inside my rubber boots. One pair is for weddings and things like that. The other two are for anytime. I have enough with that!

I suppose many women love lots of shoes, I've never been able to afford more than 2 pair a year and would wear them until the heel was worn out but I did save them all, I have 2 decades worth of old shoes that I've finally put in a bag to donate.

Lol I know people like that, me not so much. I have my everyday shoes and then a pair of knee high boots I wear with leggings.
