This is actually more from the perspective of 'I know the Prosperity Gospel is RIGHT, but Christians falsely accuse it of being "a scam that plays on humans' greed."' But--I guess to see The PG's problem--you have to 'put yourself in the mind of someone who's against it. Who's against it? There's no such thing as "The Poverty Gospel," is there? or "The Just Managing to Get-By Gospel?" ... Maybe that's what The Prosperity Gospel would call 'any other type of Christian ministry,' but the ministries themselves probably don't even focus on 'wealth-level' and say their gospel is 'The True Gospel.' But is it? 'Prosperity Theology' (Prospology?)-minister Jesse Duplantis tells us how he was talking to YHWH one day about 'what message to give the church this year,' and YHWH replied by defining Christianity in one word: Advancement---thinking of the way babies don't stay babies, the way "the whole armor of God" only protects the Christian's front (nothing protecting the back). https://words-on-fire.siterubix.com/advance-advancing-advances-advancement-advanced-advancements/ But I think of 'the night Jesus returned to His disciples': He didn't 'poke His head through their door and say, "C`mon guys, we've got to Advance the message of Our Father's love ... we've got to make sure they all worship my new Name (given to me by Our Father)!' No; the 'goal of God' was "Peace be with you!" Sure; in the very next verse (after He showed them His scars and they were sure it was Him), He told them "as my father sent me, so I am sending you"; but ... not until 'Peace' was ensured! Many-many Christians want to 'Rest In Peace' (I recognize that that's also a euphemism for "be dead," but I mean 'they'd rather do nothing and trust that "someone else" (a.k.a. God) will make things right.') That's upsetting.

Christians are expected to work hard and earn their money. God blesses us when we work. But God is not a magician. He rewards you for your work.

Yes. Or ... he blesses someone who doesn't work at all, giving them far more than anyone could ever "earn." And so it goes ...
