Years ago, I 'learned' (read at a few sites) that "the Millennial generation" was made of people born from 1981 to the mid-90's. That went against my understanding of "generations"---my parents were "Baby-Boomers" (born in the baby-boom, when soldiers got back from 'the great war' & celebrated with 'the baby-boom'), so I would naturally be 'the next generation' known as Generation X. But I was born in 1981, so I was part of the 'Millennial Generation.' But then I see this video, which (before discussing 'the problems of the millennial generation') defines the millennial generation as 'those born after 1984.' https://youtu.be/QXWNChoIluo So I suppose I've now been shoved back into the 'X' generation (and I'm not an 'Elder Millennial' like Iliza Schlesinger )

I have an almost similar topic about this one and the different timelines but I believe whenever one belongs it's but an individuals perception, I am a babyboomer but feels like a millennial sometimes and acts as Gen X
