Three Surprises

After a long walk with a friend, I returned home to three surprises.
The first was two bags of Doritos that a neighbor dropped off. I found them hanging in a bag on the doorknob with a little thank you note inside. They were from the neighbor that had borrowed and returned items. She knows I love salty snacks, but not in vast quantities like these. One will go to my brother. I will gladly keep the other!
The second was a ring that my husband saw in an antique shop. He thought I’d like it, and he was right! He’s way too thoughtful.
Finally, the third was a good sized check from a bank. Apparently, I paid a bill that didn’t need paying. It’s very confusing having two homes, or I’m losing my mind. Still, it was nice to see.

I found out I am going to need surgery on my trigger finger!! That was kinda of a surprise! Good for you for your surprises..you did really well today.

So far no surprises today but yesterday an item we ordered from eBay arrived and it was supposed to arrive until Thursday,

@DianneN yes,i just think all of us have ourself personality,all different.some people do things cautions,and some people do things careless,this is just in a personality way,not a offend,
as an easten country people,i often think in some way,westen people are sometimes careless in little matter than easten people,i think that is not bad,westen people's careless could jump over unimportance things to pay attention in importance.i think not too much punctilious personality it is not bad sometimes.
but if a person always neglect other people's feeling is not a good manner~~

Wow seems like today is a lucky day for you Dianne! I remember the neighbor who borrowed tooth paste or something like that. I think somehow she showed you her gratitude by giving you those two bags of Doritos. Enjoy!

@jvicentevalera I gave a bag to my brother, who will give it to his friend. He's on a health kick. lol

Nothing much to write home about but yes if you think new flowers in the garden are surprises then I have plenty of surprises. (lol)

No surprises yet. It's early morning here and I have an appointment with my dentist this morning. Hope I won't receive any bad surprise from her.

Oh nice! My parents are helping me so that I can go out of town for a couple days in April. :-D Nice surprise.
What is the ring like?
I love salt too. That was nice of the neighbor to remember.

. Any money returned is good .
I walked around the local college campus today and wanted to visit the children/teacher floor of the library . . . so when I got out of the elevator, I was in shock that it turned into a "map" area - totally renovated and filled with big bins for maps 
. I had no idea they did that. They moved the entire children/teacher section to another floor and it's more spacious there - so it ended up to be a good surprise.
! And a thoughtful husband too . Any money returned is good .

I don't use dips or drink soda. They still taste delicious with cold water.

wow nice surprises, you are surrounded by thoughtful people. I love antique things also and I have a few pieces of antique jewelries from my parents and some I bought myself. I hope for some nice surprise for the day.
